I love the Team Ico game Shadow of the Colossus. I’ve spoken about the stunning video game many times before and have used it in lessons as a writing stimulus but this time I used it to help my pupils design and create their own colossi using junk modelling and mod rock. They were shown images of the various colossi alongside a video montage of Ray Harryhausen creations and this helped inform their design. As you can see what the children have created are exciting and quirky creatures!
